How To Clean Your Kitchen Fast

Kitchens always look messy after cooking. As if a war has taken place in your kitchen. Nobody is ever in the mood for cleaning (apart from the people who suffer of OCD). Kitchens represent quite the challenge.

It might sound surreal, but you can clean your kitchen in 5 minutes or so. There is no magic involved. You just need to be well organized. Set the timer first-just for the fun of it. Then gather all the dirty dishes from every room in your house and bring them to the kitchen.

Throw out the garbage. Take out the items that need to be thrown away from the refrigerator and put back the items that need to be stored there. Gather the scattered things and organize them in your cabinets-where they actually belong to. Take all the kitchen utensils and put them in the dishwasher and in the dishwasher’s silverware drawer. Don’t forget the glasses, cups or mugs. Put the dirty plates in the dishwasher.

If you have any pots, strainers, cutting boards or pans lying around you can start washing them by hand or put them in the dishwasher. Start the dishwasher and let it do the hard work. Don’t just stand there while the dishwasher works…start washing and drying the counters, clean the microwave, the stove. With one hand wipe those items with a damp cloth and with another hand dry them with a rag.

After you are done stop the timer and see how much it took you. Remember, practice makes perfect. After you follow this routine by heart, it will take you less and less time to clean. You’ll do it automatically and more efficient than before.
